International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgeons (IFSES) was born in 1992 with the only mission - the growth, future progress and spread of Minimally Access Surgery, World-Wide.This is not a Federation of Surgeons but of Surgical Societies whose members are Laparoscopic surgeons from all over the world.
The purpose of this Federation is to enhance and promote Endoscopic Surgery and Minimal Access Techniques by: serving as an International forum for the dis-evaluation, and dissemination of information pertaining to Endoscopic Surgery access techniques, IFSES is rich in the quality, capability, activity and culture of each one of its Member Societies and the ethical and professional excellence of its Corporate Members.
World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery(WCES 2024), the flagship conference of International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgeons (IFSES) in conjunction with the Annual Conference of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES) is the conference of the decade in the field of Minimal Access & GI Endoscopic Surgery. The Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (IAGES) is an organization of surgeons formed to promote and spread the advancement of Endoscopic Surgery throughout India and beyond. The advancement and improvements in technology has resulted in significant changes in the surgical treatment of patients.
IAGES is a vibrant and prestigious association of more than 10000 life members. IAGES has been a leader in bringing numerous structured training programs in various areas of Minimal Access Surgery. IAGES has conducted 20+ national conferences and every year IAGES helds several fellowship programs that includes FIAGES, EFIAGES, FALS and FAGIE JMAS is the journal of IAGES and is getting more popular every year with a healthy impact factor.
